| Dru has enjoyed making images ever since he was 8 years old living in West Point, Mississippi; where, in 1983 he took part in his first film, Battlefield Earth. Shot on 8mm film by local filmmaker Alan Gammill, it fueled the passion that Dru now has for the moving image and anything to do with it’s production. He has always enjoyed making short fiction films, and shot a documentary of his band, “The Preacher’s Kids” while on the road in 2001. In 2003 Dru moved to Boston to be with his long-time love and to pursue a degree in TV Broadcasting from The New England Institute of Art, which he received in December of 2004. Since moving to Boston he has acquired a Final Cut Pro editing suite, a Panasonic DVX100A camera, and has worked on various projects within and outside of the Art Insitute. He is currently available, for very reasonable rates, to shoot any event including: weddings, sporting events, recitals, performances, or anything a person would want to remember. He can also transfer home movies on VHS, Hi8, or VHS-C to DVD. | ![]() |
